Toowong Rowing Club (TRC) has been a diverse, high-performing rowing community since its foundation in 1889. Catering to juniors, high-performance athletes, masters, recreational rowers, and honorary members, we are united by a shared passion for the sport. Originally established at the corner of Park Road and Coronation Drive, Toowong, TRC has a rich history of resilience and growth. Despite facing challenges, including floods that reshaped its early days, the club remained steadfast in its commitment to the sport and its community. In 1976, following the 1974 floods, TRC found its permanent home at 37 Keith Street, St Lucia—a place where it has continued to flourish and inspire generations of rowers ever since.
